Remember, your big goal is to create a pitch that makes the investors want to invest in your product.  There are a number of tasks you'll need to do in order to pull this off, though.

Today, assign roles and jobs to everyone in your group.  It may be a job that takes just 20 minutes, or maybe it will take that person or those people the next few days to complete.  You decide what needs to be done and who is going to do it.

Aspects of your pitch that you may want to focus on today are:

Market Research
Here are some questions to get you started:
  • Exactly how many other products compete with you?
  • What do they cost?
  • What are their features?
  • Why are you better?
  • Who is their target market? (Who are they trying to sell to?)

Design Description
Again, a couple questions to guide your work:
  • Exactly what words will you use to describe your product?  Who will say them?
  • What visuals will you have?  Will you use a drawing, a painting, a computer mock up, and/or a real life prototype?  Who will create them?
