Keep in mind, the only item in the gradebook so far for 3rd trimester history is the American Revolution Test, so the test score will be identical to the overall class grade until we get some daily assignments in there after spring break.

Please come in and check the lost and found by Friday, March 30th!  There are so many items ...... coats, shirts, books, water bottles, lunch boxes, and even shoes! All items that are left after Friday will be donated.

Just a reminder that book critiques are due tomorrow.

If you need something to keep you busy during spring break, maybe you could try to do something even better than this seven year old.
This is what he started with at the age of 5, two years ago.
Here's what inspired him.  Don't worry, that guy at the beginning is covered in red paint, not blood.  He's an artist!

Your Task
Write and produce a three minute (minimum) skit which places Anne and at least one other character from Anne of Green Gables in a new time and place.

Examples
Anne of Noah’s Ark
Anne of BCS in 2012
Anne of Mars in 2130

Requirements
- Follow the story arc (exposition, rising action, climax, resolution)
- How would Anne (with all her unique character traits) interact with a new setting?  For example, how would her imagination work?  What about the fact that she wants to please people?  Who would she want to please?  Who would be her kindred spirit?
- Groups of five
- Costumes and Props
- Script written out
- At least 3 minutes

Tips
Pick a normal situation and examine how Anne would make it very abnormal.
How would Anne interact with technology that wasn’t around in the book?
How would Anne interact in another book we’ve read?
How would Anne behave during some historical event?

This has nothing to do with anything we are learning in class, but it's pretty cool!
